PEB Steel Building Co., Ltd. (Pebsteel) participated in a thematic seminar at Nguyen Tat Thanh University (NTTU) in August 2023, where it addressed the topic of pre-engineered steel and steel structures, along with rooftop solar solutions for industrial buildings with over 200 students.

On behalf of Nguyen Tat Thanh University, Assoc. Prof. Vu Truong Vu (Dean, Faculty of Civil Engineering) expressed his enthusiasm for the opportunity to partner with Pebsteel and move forward with long-term plans for providing students with access to practical knowledge, additionally supporting students in preparing themselves with the necessary baggage for future careers.

During the seminar, Pebsteel presented to students an overview of the pre-engineered steel industry with current technological advances, as well as introduced Pebsteel’s landmark projects across the world. The sharing helps students enrich the knowledge they have learned from school. Above all, this is an opportunity for them to approach, broaden their mindset, and shape their future careers.

Besides that, Pebsteel focused on the rooftop solar solution for pre-engineered buildings. This is a pioneering initiative that follows the trend of industrialized countries where green energy is a crucial emphasis. This is an engaging and attractive topic for NTTU students. Also, Pebsteel representatives had an informative Q&A session with multi-aspect questions from students on professional knowledge as well as career opportunities.

In addition, Pebsteel contributed a mockup of a pre-engineered building to NTTU in order to address students’ learning and research purposes. Hopefully, our mockup model will give students more opportunities to understand pre-engineered steel buildings.
