On April 11, 2024, Pebsteel was honored to participate in the “Build to Last” 2024 conference organized by the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Vietnam (CCIFV). The conference brought together investors, construction contractors, consultancy experts, suppliers, and representatives from various other sectors to create a pragmatic blueprint for sustainable development.
The conference highlighted Vietnam’s proactive approach towards implementing numerous strategies to advance the Net Zero commitment. The country has been refining mechanisms and policies to create fresh avenues for businesses and investors, leading to challenges and opportunities in constructing sustainable buildings.
Speaking about the application of steel materials in construction projects to follow the direction of green construction, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Tuan, the General Manager of Pebsteel Vietnam shared, “The use of construction materials has a significant environmental impact, leading to environmental degradation. At Pebsteel, we prioritize the selection of sustainable materials to protect the environment from the negative impact of construction materials. All materials used in our steel buildings are certified globally.”
