Nidec Group made its latest strategic global investment with a new facility in Hubli-Dharwad, India, aimed at enhancing its Motion & Energy business. This new state-of-the-art campus consists of six plants and utilizes advanced equipment, automation, and Nidec’s 3Q6S lean manufacturing processes to ensure top-quality production.

Spanning over 30 acres, this facility became Nidec Motion & Energy’s largest in India and was designed to become carbon neutral by 2028. It manufactures a diverse range of products including motors, generators, drives, and system solutions, positioning Nidec as a market leader in segments such as renewable energy, data centers, industrial applications, infrastructure, and electric vehicles.
For this project, which spans a total area of 62,000 square meters, Pebsteel undertook the construction of six buildings featuring the latest upgraded steel structural systems. This design ensured stability and efficiency while incorporating our latest innovative products, such as PebWall®, LokSeam®, Wall Light and Skylight materials, maximizing natural light for energy efficiency and long-term financial sustainability. These advancements not only enhanced the aesthetic appeal of the structures but also provided long-lasting sustainability over time.
