The devastating impact of the fourth wave of Covid-19 in Vietnam is the 2-year culmination of 2,045,290 Vietnamese infected with the virus that claimed the lives of over 35,788. District 8 is the place most affected by the Covid-19 pandemic with more than 2,000 deaths and currently has more than 329 Covid orphans.
Comprehending this pain, Pebsteel joined hands and supported VinaCapital Foundation (VCF) to provide medical check-ups for orphaned and underprivileged children impacted by the pandemic in District 8. The activity took place on November 18-19 and under the “Care To Rise” program implemented by VCF in collaboration with the HCMC Youth Union.

The objective of this activity is to extend assistance and support for the physical and educational well-being of children affected by Covid-19, as well as children from laborer and worker families with disadvantaged backgrounds. The medical examinations covered general health check-ups, optical and ENT assessments, dental evaluations, musculoskeletal examinations, and psychological health diagnoses. These assessments were conducted by proficient and specialized doctors at the HCMC Children’s Hospital.
